- I got work at the local uni supervising exams today. It is only 3 hour shifts but every bit counts and it is easy work. There are three semesters a year and the exam periods go for two weeks each. I won’t necessarily work each day during the two weeks but it is extra work that can help with our crazy repayments. My husband is also working here but he can’t do as many shifts as me because of his other job.
- I went through my emails and flagged the ones that may have some financial benefit no matter how small eg fill out this survey about your recent visit and you will go into a draw for $100
- I gave the manager at the other store I worked at yesterday my phone number so she could contact me directly and let her know I am looking for extra hours. This should increase my chances of being one of her first choices.
- I started on a spend X amount for the next 4 weeks and get some bonus points deal from Woolworths. I will have to add it to my diary to remember in upcoming weeks.
- I also found a bunch of old gift cards that still have a small amount left on them. Used a Wish gift card with $16.13 left to pay for some of the groceries.
- I worked on eBay again. I am going to try to do this everyday this year.
- I joined a few mystery shop companies.
- I signed up for four mystery shopping jobs.
- I started writing an ebook about mystery shopping in Australia as so much only related to the US.
- Read through a blog to find ideas of ways to decrease expenses and increase income.
