- I researched electricity companies and switched to one that will give me a much bigger pay-on-time discount. The rates for the electricity are the same as the current supplier. As there is no lock in contract I will check this again once I have the first bill from the new company.
- I did a mystery shop on the electricity company I am now signing up to. May as well get paid to do the research to decrease my expenses.
- I had a job interview today.
- I am still applying for second jobs through Seek, Gumtree, Dominos and Pizza Hut. I think a second job will make the biggest difference to my income so it is what I am focusing on first.
- I worked on ebay.
- I worked on an airtasker job. I have done three airtasker jobs this week. This site is proving to be great. I will have to keep an eye open for more.
- I researched landlord insurance policies as I have one due on Sunday. I will stick with current policy as I can’t find a cheaper one.
- I bagged up a bunch of cans to deliver to the recycling drop off. Every cent counts.
- It is my birthday this week and I found a blog post about all of the companies that give out birthday freebies. This isn’t going to make me rich but the budget does not allow for treats so this is one way to get them. I will do a blog post in a little bit going through the freebies I got and the other ones that are available but I chose not to use.
